Like most Masonic lodges, Lodge Minto 385 caters for a range of social interests  for members and friends, with a very active golf section and a successful travel club.

The golf section plays regular matches against other lodges, including annual competitions with Lodge Traffalger 223 from Edinburgh and Lodge Perth Royal Arch 122. If you would like to arrange a match please feel free to contact us and your details will be passed to the golf section secretary for response.

 

Visit to Rome 2011.

The travel club section was formed in 2003. To date we have visited Lodges in Malta, Nerja (Spain), Toulouse (France), Mallorca,(Spain) where we visited Lodge Ramon llul no9 in Palma Mallorca and demonstrated a fellowcraft degree. In addition, we visited Lodge True Love & Unity in Devon during June 2010. We have visited Portugal for a short holiday and in January 2011 we were invited to demonstrate the second degree to Lodge Andrew S MacBride No 237 in Rome Italy.

Our next venture in February 2012 sees the travel club going to Germany with visits to Lodge Forget-me-not 1035 followed by a vsit to Lodge Phoenix 847 in Berlin.

Lodge Annual Dance is held on the third Friday in February each year.
Christmas Party Second Sunday in December(for children aged less than 10 years old).
Installation of Office Bearers for the ensuing twelve monthsThird Saturday in December.

Other social events Planned

Please be aware that Lodge Minto 385 also has it’s own bar (downstairs) which is open on Saturday evenings all year round. We’re sure that you will have a very enjoyable evening with a friendly welcome, sing-a-long and bingo etc. The bar is open from 7.30pm.
